"Happy couples never fight!"
I'll bet you've heard that a few times. Or read that some where. Happy couples don't fight, right?
Wrong.

Disagreeing, not seeing eye-to-eye, getting into conflict...
These are all part of the natural process when there is more than one person in any interaction.
Sure if you are talking to only yourself you likely agree with yourself.
As long as there is another human being other than yourself, it's normal to have moments where you are not on the same page about... anything, really.
Being a couple is sharing an intimate relationship with a person other than yourself.
This comes with heightened emotional reactions towards each other, at times more so than if you were interacting with a friend.
Fighting is part of being in a relationship.
It is okay to get into fight or not be completely in sync every now and then.
If you are someone who gets anxious over confrontation, it is absolutely understandable if this makes you nervous and you do your best to avoid conflict at all costs.
Shift your mindset.
Fighting is okay. It's all about how you fight. That's what really matters.
How do you fight?
